An antiemetic drug is used to combat nausea and vomiting, typically due to motion sickness, post surgery nausea, queasiness as a result of chemotherapy or anesthesia and in some cases, morning sickness. A common antiemetic is Zofran (generic: Ondansetron), however, the drug does have side effects.
